Why this matters now: agentic checkout is no longer theoretical — AI shopping agents completed real autonomous purchases in 2026, and security researchers at Akamai and Palo Alto's Unit 42 have both published live examples of reviews and product content being used to hijack shopping agents into recommending competitors, applying fake discounts, or leaking data. Every scanner we could find either protects the person using an AI browser, or checks whether AI can discover your catalog (robots.txt, llms.txt, structured data).
